From time to time, individuals must take a firearms safety course to satisfy a court order.
Courts usually require a 16 hour firearms safety course. In rare cases the court will require an 8 hour course. In some cases, the individual must take a course without handling or discharging a firearm.
Basic Firearms Training can provide 8 or 16 hour firearms safety courses that satisfy the court order. Once the student completes the course, they will receive the appropriate documentation to provide their attorney, social worker, or court.
If you are in need of a court ordered firearms safety course, please call (916) 718-0976 or email registration@BasicFirearmsTraining.net to discuss your course requirements and how to register for the course.
Please note that the fees vary depending on who pays Basic Firearms Training for the course. If you self pay, it costs less than if an agency, such as a city or county, pays. This is because I generally spend significantly more time and resources on paperwork, invoicing and processing the payment from an agency.
