This 2-hour Evacuation Procedures course is an elective course for BSIS licensed security officers in California.

This course may be used to satisfy either:

1. 2 of the 16-hours of elective training required to obtain a Guard Card.
2. 2 of the 8-hours of required annual continuing education.
3. General knowledge of evacuation procedures for security personnel.

Per BSIS requirements, this course includes the following topics:

1. Emergency procedures related to life, safety, and acts of nature
2. Working knowledge of evacuation routes
   • Stairs
   • Elevators
   • Doors
3. Power outages
4. Specific points of contact
