Basic Handgun 4 – Introduction to Low Light Shooting Course Overview
This 6-8-hour course combines the skills learned in Basic Handgun Courses 1-3 and teaches students how to incorporate a flashlight while performing those skills in low light conditions. This course is NOT for weapon mounted lights.
Students will learn new course material during daylight hours to ensure they are able to operate their firearms in a safe and satisfactory manner. Students will then apply their newly acquired skills during low light / nighttime conditions in the evening.
Students who cannot safely or satisfactorily operate their firearm during the day will NOT be allowed to shoot in low light / nighttime conditions. Instead, they will be allowed to observe the low light portion of the class.
This course is for semi-automatic pistols only. Revolvers may not be used in this class as they operate a little differently than semi-automatic pistols. Most students have semi-automatic handguns, and the goal is to keep the class moving along efficiently.
