This 4-hour Officer Safety course is an elective course for BSIS licensed security officers in California.

This course may be used to satisfy either:

1. 4 of the 16-hours of elective training required to obtain a Guard Card.
2. 4 of the 8-hours of required annual continuing education.
3. General knowledge of officer safety for security personnel.

Per BSIS requirements, this course covers the following topics:

1. Threat assessment
2. Subject contact
3. Safety awareness
4. Blood borne pathogens
5. Environmental / hazardous materials
