This 4-hour Workplace Violence course is an elective course for BSIS licensed security officers in California.

This course may be used to satisfy either:

1. 4 of the 16-hours of elective training required to obtain a Guard Card.
2. 4 of the 8-hours of required annual continuing education.
3. General knowledge of workplace violence for security professionals.

Per BSIS requirements, this course covers the following topics:

1. Detecting unusual behavior / warning signs
   • Worker to worker
   • Client to customer
   • Supervisor to subordinate
2. Anger management
3. Valuing diversity
4. Personal security
5. Reporting
